Here is another couple of Apps that our team have been playing with this week! What’s great about these educational tools is that they engage students directly while still allowing for guidance from the teacher.

Enjoy!

Cram

Cram is designed specifically to help students study for a big test. The app allows them to create multiple-choice quizzes and study guides with a flash-card-like system. The app even randomly changes the order of the answers to ensure students aren’t memorizing a particular option.  Best of all for teachers it has a massive bank of online tests you can access and administer.

Here is a cool demonstration clip!

Hello, Hello

Hello-Hello, a language learning web site that launched last year, released its iPad app April 1, offering access to the site’s entire Spanish course and allowing access to social networking sites where students can chat with native speakers of the language they are studying. Hello-Hello.com plans to release iPad apps covering more languages in the coming weeks, according to a company announcement.
