You’re all probably sick to death of hearing about the iPhone… but nonetheless, I just came across a video on YouTube about a group called EM:RAP who cover education in emergency services, and how they think the iPhone is going to revoultionise the way they teach emergency medicine. The capacity to easily access and share video and audio means they’re going to be able to make their important lessons portable and accessible, which they hope will massively increase engagement around the learnings.

One of the best parts about this group? It’s AUSTRALIAN! It’s great to see an Aussie educational group leading the way in using emerging technologies in education. It’s not schools, per se, but I think it shows how certain educational groups are really getting on board with finding ways of using technology to help their lessons reach and engage and broader audience.
