It’s not everyday you get to travel to an island for work.

On Wednesday, I had the pleasure of delivering the Beyond Chalk Technology in Education presentation to the staff at Dunwich SHS on Stradbroke Island.

Despite the cold weather, I was met with a wonderfully warm bunch of people and afterwards treated to an equally wonderfully warm pea and ham soup to send me on my way. Boy what a picturesque place to live and work. It really was awesome. I just wish I could have stayed longer. I guess that’s as far east as I’ll be taking Beyond Chalk in Queensland.

So thank you to Kevin, Merrilyn and all the staff. I had a great time.

Here’s a picture I took with my phone at around 7:30am from the jetty while I was waiting on the mainland for the ferry.
